This Privacy Policy explains how Punchline (“we”, “us”) collects and uses information when you use the Punchline iOS app and related game services.
1. Information We Collect
- Account identifiers from Apple or Telegram sign-in.
- Profile data such as nickname, avatar, and linked sign-in methods.
- User-generated content, including setups, punchlines, images you choose to upload, votes, reports, blocks, room activity, and game progress.
- Push notification tokens, timestamps, device/app metadata, and technical error logs needed to operate and secure the app.
2. How We Use Data
- To create and restore your game profile.
- To run gameplay, rooms, voting, leaderboards, and moderation workflows.
- To process content reports and user blocks.
- To send important app notifications if you allow push notifications.
- To secure, debug, maintain, and improve the service.
3. Legal Basis and Retention
We process data to provide the requested game service, maintain platform safety, and operate the app reliably. Data is retained only as long as needed for these purposes and legal obligations.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal data and do not use it for third-party advertising tracking. We may process data through service providers such as Supabase, Apple, Telegram, and hosting infrastructure only as needed to operate the app.
5. Security
We apply technical and organizational safeguards to protect data. No system is absolutely secure, but we continuously improve protections.
6. Account Deletion
You can delete your Punchline account inside the iOS app from the Profile screen. Deletion removes your profile, linked sign-in methods, native refresh tokens, push tokens, room membership, and personal account data. Some old punchlines may remain in the game without being linked to your account.
7. Your Rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. In-app account deletion is the fastest way to remove your Punchline account.
